Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Welcome to The Wonder Table.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit or use our website, purchase a product from us, make an enquiry, or otherwise use the online services provided by The Wonder Table.

Throughout these Terms, "The Wonder Table", "we", "us" and "our" refer to The Wonder Table. Our website and online store are powered by Shopify.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies that apply to your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Using Our Website

Our website and online store are intended primarily for adults, including parents, carers and educators.

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the website;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or associated systems;
  • Use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights;
  • Knowingly introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • Collect or misuse information about other users; or
  • Reproduce, scrape or commercially exploit our website or its content without our permission.

We may restrict or suspend access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect The Wonder Table, our customers or our system.

2. Our Products

We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Because many elements of The Wonder Table are tactile, creative or handcrafted, there may be small variations between individual products or between a product and the way it appears in photographs. Colours may also appear differently depending on your screen or device.

These natural variations are part of the character of handcrafted products and materials and do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Product descriptions, availability and designs may change from time to time. We may discontinue a product or limit quantities where reasonably necessary.

3. Creative Invitations and Adult Supervision

The Wonder Table Collections are designed to encourage open-ended creativity and exploration.

Our products may contain or invite the use of natural materials, craft materials, string, paper, cardboard, small components or other creative materials.

Any age guidance provided by The Wonder Table is a guide only. Parents, carers and educators are responsible for considering the individual child, the materials being used and the level of supervision appropriate to the activity.

Children should be appropriately supervised when participating in creative invitations, particularly where small parts, natural materials or other craft materials are involved.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or guarantees that apply under Australian law.

4. Orders and Payment

When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products in your order.

Your order is confirmed when we accept it and send you an order confirmation. Payment must be successfully processed before we can fulfil your order.

Please check your order details carefully before submitting your purchase, including your delivery address.

If we are unable to accept or fulfil an order, we will contact you using the details provided with your order and, where payment has already been taken, arrange an appropriate refund.

We may reasonably refuse or cancel an order where, for example:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • There has been an obvious pricing or listing error;
  • Payment cannot be processed;
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse; or
  • We are unable to deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the relevant amount.

5. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change from time to time. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed when you place your order, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed or communicated before you complete your purchase.

Where GST applies, prices will be displayed in accordance with applicable Australian requirements.

From time to time, we may offer promotions or discount codes. Additional conditions may apply to a particular promotion and will be communicated with that offer.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We will take reasonable care to prepare and dispatch your order within the timeframe communicated on our website or at the time of purchase.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays experienced by postal or courier providers.

If there is a significant delay or an issue with your delivery, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is accurate. We may not be responsible for additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery information supplied by you, except to the extent otherwise required by law.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are not supplied within an agreed or reasonable time.

7. Returns, Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with rights and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Products must, among other things, be of acceptable quality, be fit for any disclosed purpose and match their description.

Services must, among other things, be provided with due care and skill, be fit for an agreed purpose and be supplied within a reasonable time where no timeframe has been agreed.

If there is a problem with a product or service, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

Our Refund Policy provides further information about returns and refunds and operates in addition to, and not instead of, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Wonder Workshops and Partnerships

The Wonder Table also provides Wonder Workshops, kindergarten partnerships and other facilitated creative experiences.

Specific Workshops or Partnerships may be subject to additional terms agreed with the participating kindergarten, school, organisation, parent, carer or other customer.

These may include arrangements relating to:

  • Dates;
  • Participant numbers;
  • Access to the venue;
  • Cancellations;
  • Materials;
  • Photography; and
  • Permissions.

Where separate written terms have been agreed for a particular Workshop or Partnership, those terms will apply to that engagement in addition to these Terms. If there is an inconsistency relating specifically to that engagement, the separately agreed terms will take priority.

We design and facilitate Wonder experiences with care, but children's participation, responses and creative outcomes will naturally vary.

The Wonder Table does not prescribe or guarantee a particular creative, developmental or educational outcome for an individual child.

Nothing in this section limits any guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Intellectual Property

The Wonder Table is built around original ideas, creative invitations, workshop concepts, written materials, illustrations, photographs, designs and resources.

Unless otherwise stated, the content on our website and materials created by The Wonder Table — including our text, photographs, graphics, branding, Collection materials, invitation cards, Workshop materials, educator resources and other original content — is owned by or licensed to The Wonder Table and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are welcome to use products and materials you purchase from us for their intended personal, family, classroom or educational use.

Unless we have given written permission, you must not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or substantially copy The Wonder Table's materials, resources, designs or content.

Purchasing a Collection, Workshop or other resource does not transfer ownership of The Wonder Table's intellectual property to you.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict a use that is otherwise permitted by law.

10. Children's Creations

The creative work a child makes during a Wonder experience remains their own creation.

Participation in a Wonder Workshop does not give The Wonder Table ownership of a child's artwork or creation.

Where we photograph, document or share children's creations, words or other Wonder moments, we will do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any relevant permissions or consent arrangements.

11. Website Content

We take reasonable care with the information we publish on our website.

From time to time, information may contain an error or become out of date, including information about availability, pricing, descriptions or delivery timeframes.

If we identify an error, we may correct it.

If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, which may include proceeding on the corrected basis or receiving a refund.

Nothing in this section allows us to avoid obligations or representations that apply under Australian law.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website is powered by Shopify and may use or link to other third-party services, platforms or websites.

When you follow a link to a third-party website or choose to use a third-party service, that provider's own terms and privacy practices may apply.

We are not responsible for the content or operation of websites that we do not control, except to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Shopify

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce technology that allows us to offer products and services online.

Purchases made from The Wonder Table are transactions between you and The Wonder Table, not Shopify.

Shopify may provide technology and services involved in your transaction, including checkout, payments, security and order processing.

Shopify's handling of personal information is addressed further in our Privacy Policy and Shopify's own privacy information.

14. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains the kinds of information we may collect, how we use and protect that information, our relationship with Shopify and other service providers, and the particular care we take with information relating to children.

15. Reviews, Feedback and Submissions

We love hearing how families, children and educators experience The Wonder Table.

If you voluntarily provide us with a review, testimonial, suggestion or other feedback, you give us permission to use that feedback to operate, improve or promote The Wonder Table, subject to any limitations or permissions agreed with you.

We will take particular care with feedback that contains information about children. Children's names, images, words, creations or other identifying information will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant permissions.

You must not submit material that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights or that is unlawful, misleading or harmful.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, The Wonder Table is not responsible for loss or damage caused by:

  • Use of a product in a way that is inconsistent with its intended purpose or instructions;
  • Unreasonable misuse of a product;
  • Failure to provide appropriate adult supervision where it is reasonably required;
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
  • Third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Where the law allows liability to be limited, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Sometimes circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to supply a product, deliver an order or facilitate a Workshop as planned.

These circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Illness;
  • Transport disruption;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Venue closures; or
  • Significant failures affecting suppliers or service providers.

Where this occurs, we will communicate with affected customers as reasonably practicable and work with them to find an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling, substitution where agreed, credit or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to The Wonder Table, our website, our products and services, or applicable requirements.

The current version will be published on our website with the date of the latest update.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen in relation to an existing purchase or agreement.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia.

You and The Wonder Table submit to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law or other legislation.
